The word “choice” here really bugs me. A woman can choose what to wear in the morning, she can choose what she wants in her coffee. However, she cannot choose to shoplift, for example. Call it what it is and say “John McCain does not believe it should be legal for a woman to have an abortion.”

And, @Cerebron, it actually is simple. I assume everyone on digg believes that it should be against the law to end a life. The pro and anti abortion camps are divided simply on when they believe life begins. Those who believe it begins in the womb are of course against abortion. Those who believe that life begins at birth don’t have a problem with it. Once you lay out those beliefs, there is really no arguing to be done. You either fall on one side or the other, depending on when YOU believe life begins.
