The story shared over the Haulipai 2-meter net was that the octogenarian wanted to [again] become active in Amateur Radio and planned to purchase a new set at the local electronics store. He made it to the store but could not remember the PIN for his credit card at the check stand. Hence, the report ended that he went home empty handed. . .
