Ugh, LogMeIn decided to classify educational/institutional use as Commercial use, so I called their sales rep, and the rep told me to pirate the software!!! No joke–at first she told me that edu use was non-commercial, but I suggested she read her company’s new license policy. She then suggested that it was all honor system, they don’t really check, and that I should just register as non-commercial anyway. But when I asked her to put it in writing, she refused, and then finally agreed with me that she was indeed advocating pirating LogMeIn software. What a mess! I really don’t think LogMeIn has thought through their new license policy.
