@Wesside: You don’t understand what it means. It’s normally at the end of the teaser that is shown on the front page of the blog, meaning you have to ‘jump’ into the actual story to keep reading or to see additional pictures or whatever. The reason it’s so annoying on Digg is that we don’t see the front page, we go straight to the article, and thus we don’t need to ‘jump’. A blog can be ad free and still have an ‘after the jump’ link.
The real question is why does it show up on the full article page and not just the teaser?
