Xenophobia comes from Greek

Xenophobia comes from Greek. xenos means stranger and phobos means fear. The classic definition of xenophobia is fear or contempt of foreigners. You are suggesting the creators of the game made it in response to their fear or contempt of foreigners who are tied directly to the bible say…western culture? The characters in this game are indeed from the bible. I suppose if you are tying Christianity to western society, you are suggesting that by attacking the bible they are attacking “us”. Let’s pretend for a second that you aren’t an ignorant bigot and that the bible is actually part of the western identity. It wouldn’t be a good marketing plan to purposely alienate anyone as the basis for a game. I think their perception of these characters and what they are doing is far more innocent then your perception of their intentions. Growing up in completely different societies, the symbolism behind everyday references is completely different for “us” and “them”. The Angels and demons thing well…You’d have to be one ignorant asshole to think that you’re religion is the only one with demons. The Angel references (Evangelion?) is also a result of alternate symbolism and indirect translations.
I don’t think this is racist at all. I think its unfortunate that you jump right to anger over something so petty.
Okay Mr. Dude?
